Dear friends, I am doing very well these days!! I am still trying to get back to being able to drive.  I did get the paper from my neurologist, to try for a driving evaluation.  But as I asked the Director of the Whellness center where I live and the Motherhouse coordinator, they are not too happy with my trying to do this at this time.  So I have not made the call to get the evaluation.  I think I am ready but they do not!! I will wait until I see my primary doctor and ask her to give me the request for a special program to get back to driving.  I do need to do this, since I have to get to places for events and visit my special brother and sister.  I suppose I am too anxious to move forward in my recovery.  It will be 3 years on May 21, 2008 when I suffered from a right brain aneurysm.  I have made a marvelous recovery so everyone says, but I am at a stand still right now!! I should remember that Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor, who suffered from a stroke and wrote a book, " A Brain Scientist Personal Journey, says in the book that it took her 8 years to come to full recovery.  But I do not want to wait that long really!!! I GUESS I NEED PATIENCE OH MY GOD!!! ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT I WAS NOT EXPECTED TO SURVIVE THIS, BUT I HAVE AND TODAY I AM A LIVING MIRACLE!!! IT WAS ALL THE PRAYERS SAID FOR ME ALL OVER THE WORLD THAT BROUGHT ME BACK TODAY!! I KNOW THAT GOD HAS OTHER PLANS FOR ME!!! GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME, ALL THE TIME OUR GOD IS GOOD!! THANK YOU GOD!!!
